2010 Sweat Lodge Ceremonies (in Beaconsfield)

The ceremonies are done in harmony and respect for the Native American tradition of going into a sweat lodge to purify ones mind, body and connection to their soul. The way through the gates into the higher realms are believed to only be achievable by releasing the heavy and dead things inside of us; the toxins. In their tradition the toxins are believed to be held in the mind through our negative thought forms, in the body and in the organs from the poisons in our food, air and water. It is understood that the toxicity is what creates the barrier between the person and their soul and their higher calling.

We have become sleep walkers. Not fully alive and not fully dead. Somewhere caught in the middle. The sweat lodge holds the key to unlocking and freeing all that you are. It allows a person to purify and purge the toxins from their life by releasing them from the mind and body. Once freed the person will be able to connect to their soul, their calling and to the powers within.

What goes on in a Sweat Lodge?
Inside the igloo shaped hut, red hot rocks are placed in the middle of the circle. Water and medicinal herbals are sprinkled on the rocks. The steam released cleanses the body as it sweats out the toxins. Drumming, rattling and chanting holds the beat that soothes and calms the mind. Guided imagery takes you on your healing journey into yourself.

The igloo shape is symbolic of a mothers womb. It is pitch dark inside. You are going into the womb of Mother Earth to re-create and re-birth yourself in your image. Another way of looking at it is like a cocoon. You are going into the dark, into the cocoon to re-create and then emerge as the butterfly.

The experience is empowering, transformative, life-altering and definitely memorable.

For the first time ever, it will be held in Beaconsfield. Don't miss your chance to participate.

You must register ahead. No-one under 16 is allowed. It is customary to have a few people outside the sweat lodge holding prayers for those inside going through the metamorphosis. If you wish to be one of the prayer holders, please register as a witness.

Cost $50.00 for the whole day. (Prayer holders $20.00)

Please bring a light lunch. Some fresh fruit will be offered.

This is a full day activity that starts out with teachings about the Sweat Lodge. Then before you enter the Sweat Lodge, in front of the fire, you will do a personal evaluation and assessment deciding which parts and stories of yourself you wish to release and heal, and to decide your purpose and what parts of yourself you wish to re-birth. You then enter The Sweat Lodge prepared. The Sweat Lodge part lasts about 2-3 hours.

Intensive 5 Day Energetic Workshop™ in the Country

This course comprises 5 full days and 4 evenings of intensive soul communication. Each day begins with breakfast and then yoga. You will be led through many walks through the woods in meditation. And as such, you will deeply and profoundly connect with the earth. You will learn earth rituals and methods to bring in the earth’s powers of healing and rejuvenation. You will be led to a stream and/or lake, to do tree, rock, and bird merging meditations. You will experience one of the most powerfully altering self healings through the guided sweat lodge meditations (Native American tradition). These meditations (there are two) consist of a 3-4 hour intensive releasing created to move out all density, drama, trauma, fears, horror, programming, and all lived limitations… from your body all the way down to your DNA.

You will celebrate life with fires, drums, bells, and with chanting and ritual type meditations. You will also invoke cleansing, releasing and freeing powers during your ventures with the medicine wheel. You will be taught how to find your place and space upon it, how to use it for meditation, invocation, and what your location on the wheel has to do with who you are today. You will explore how it is a link to your past self and how you can heal all layers of your being – from both your physical and non-physical lives.

You will also learn techniques to begin to see auras. Beginning with trees and then moving the sight to the human body, you will learn to see each layer. You will learn how to interpret what you are seeing, feeling or perceiving. This is an intensive workshop designed to bring out your greatest gifts, especially your internal sight.

This workshop is offered as a 60 hour intensive day/night study program. There will be no more than 8 people in each workshop.

Cost: The cost is $125 per person per day for 5 or more people. The food is extra at $30.00 per person per day. All food is fresh, raw and organic with very few exceptions.
